Several accommodation options are available in close proximity to the Conference Venue. An accommodation block will be secured at a nearby hotel, with further details to be provided soon. Accommodation bookings will be available as part of the conference registration process.

Travel
Delegates are encouraged to use public transport where possible. The Newcastle Exhibition & Convention Centre (NEX) is conveniently located within a short walk of the Newcastle Interchange, providing easy access to train, light rail and bus services from across the Newcastle and Hunter region.
A range of parking options are available for delegates attending the Conference at the Newcastle Exhibition & Convention Centre (NEX):
- Onsite Underground Parking – The Bull Street car park is located beneath Wests City, with vehicle access via Bull Street and Arnott Street. Parking fees apply (currently a flat rate of $6.00 per hour).
- Street Parking – Metred on-street parking is available around NEX, including along Arnott Street. Parking fees and time restrictions apply.
- 291 King Street Parking – Located approximately a 2-minute walk from NEX, this is the closest public parking facility.
- No. 1 Sportsground Car Park – A public car park located on Union Street within the National Park precinct, approximately a 10-minute walk from the NEX.
Delegates may wish to use the EasyPark App to locate and pay for eligible parking spaces throughout Newcastle. The current daily parking fee for many 8P parking areas is $12.00 per day, Monday to Sunday. Parking fees and conditions are subject to change, so please check the signage at your chosen parking location on the day of your visit.

Newcastle is located only two hours drive north of Sydney and an easy 50 minute journey to the Hunter Valley or Port Stephens.
Sit back and relax by catching the train to the Newcastle Interchange. The Newcastle and Central Coast services depart regularly from Sydney’s Central Station, Strathfield, Epping and Hornsby. Visit the Transport NSW for further information and timetables.
Newcastle Airport is a 25-minute drive from the CBD, and you can fly direct to Newcastle from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and the Gold Coast, as well as regional cities including Ballina/Byron Bay, Dubbo, Whitsundays, Sunshine Coast and Taree. Local Transport Options
Connects Newcastle Interchange to Newcastle Beach, stopping near the NEX venue. Honeysuckle Light Rail Stop: Located just west of NEX, about a 7 minute walk (approx. 600m) to NEX.
