Special rates have been negotiated and bookings for these rates are available via the registration form (not directly with the hotel). The rates listed are for the conference dates only.

One bedroom apartment – $219 per night

Quest Newcastle is located in the heart of Newcastle’s CBD, short walk to the waterfront boardwalk of Honeysuckle and a very short walk to the Conference Venue (back entrance of the hotel is opposite the NEX).

Standard Queen Room – $210 per night

The Holiday Inn Express is located an 8 minute walk from the Conference Venue and features contemporary styled rooms with in room workspace including a slimline desk and comfy desk chair.

Accommodation Booking Conditions

Please Note:

  • The accommodation rates quoted include GST and are subject to availability at time of booking.
  • Rates may increase without notice due to changes in government charges, taxes or levies.
  • The deadline for accommodation bookings through East Coast Conferences is Friday 31st March (subject to availability).
Accommodation Payment

Full prepayment of accommodation is required to secure your booking.

Accommodation Availability

Block bookings have been made at the above properties and will be confirmed on a first-in basis. Bookings have been made for the Conference dates only (Checking in on Wednesday 3rd May and Checking out on Friday 5th May). Accommodation can be organised outside these dates on a by-request basis only, and room rates may vary outside these dates. All accommodation bookings are subject to availability.

How to Book Accommodation

To book, complete the Registration Form and email to East Coast Conferences. The Conference Managers will forward your reservation and full pre-payment to the hotel.

Change of Booking

Any change to a reservation must initially be notified to the Conference Managers and not directly to the hotel. Please note, any changes must be made to the Conference Managers by Friday 31st March. After this date, please liaise directly with the hotel for any changes to your booking. Cancellations must be made in writing (fees may apply).

Arrival Time

Hotel check-in time is 2pm for all properties. If you are to arrive before this time it is probable that you will not be able to gain access to your room. To guarantee a room to be available for an early arrival you will need to pre-book your room for the previous night. If required please indicate on your registration form. (You will be charged by the hotel for the additional night).

Accommodation Refunds

Any accommodation cancellations received after Wednesday 5th April will be subject to the hotels accommodation cancellation fee.

Travel 

Newcastle is located only two hours drive north of Sydney and an easy 50 minute journey to the Hunter Valley or Port Stephens.

Driving from Sydney or the South – Follow the Pacific Motorway (M1) and take the Newcastle Link Road exit which will bring you into the heart of the City.

Driving from the West – Newcastle City Centre is accessible from either the New England or Golden Highway.

Driving from the North – Follow the Pacific Highway directly into the City Centre

Newcastle is part of the CityRail network. Frequent daily return services are available heading south on the Newcastle/ Central Coast network with access to; Lake Macquarie, the Central Coast, Sydney and surrounding suburbs, and heading north west on the Hunter network providing access to the Lower and Upper Hunter regions.
